Unique ID returns home from a trip to Hollywood with plans to reboot The Hello World Program in 3DCG. Incredulous, Guido inquires about the show’s pending digital transformation. Unique ID explains how computer graphics are made, covering pixels, RGB values, and 3D modeling and rendering.
The Hello World Program
The Hello World Program is an entertaining and educational puppet show teaching computer science to kids of all ages. The show’s title is a play on the first program a beginner will often write, telling the computer to print the phrase “Hello, World!” Each episode draws upon classic and pop culture references to humorously illustrate foundational concepts of computer science. Fundamentals such as binary and powers of two are simplified using analogies and a variety of animation techniques ranging from paper craft stop motion to 3D computer graphics.
