This video explores the four stages of the butterfly life cycle. Butterflies go through a process called metamorphosis during their lifetime. This means that they change and grow in different stages. When a butterfly is born, it starts out as a tiny egg. The egg hatches into a larva, also known as a caterpillar. The caterpillar eats and grows for a while, and then it forms a hard outer shell called a chrysalis. Inside the chrysalis, the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. Finally, the butterfly emerges from the chrysalis with its beautiful wings fully developed. Butterflies are important because they help pollinate flowers and plants. This means that they help spread pollen from one plant to another, which helps the plants grow and reproduce.
