Come with us to learn why plastic is harmful to all life on earth. It stays around forever and never breaks down, so we find it in the sea and we find it on land. We even find it in the tummies of creatures who don’t know that plastic isn’t food. So what can we do to get rid of it? So many different things as we will see. We can recycle - by making different things out of the plastic we have. In fact, we made a boat out of thousands of flip-flops and empty plastic bottles! And what’s more, we sailed it on the biggest lake in Africa! How about that? We can reduce our use of plastic even more by using different materials to make things, rather than using plastic. And we can reuse the plastic we already have by making more useful things - like bags and bricks and earrings! There are so many things to make - you can think of some too! Look and love and learn with N*Gen.
