Come with us to learn about tiny creatures called insects! There are a million and more different kinds. They may be small, but they are so many - more than three-quarters of all animals are insects. But you have to look really carefully to see some of them, so we went on a hunt in a busy forest to find them where they hide under leaves and in the bark of a tree. Some are big and some are small. They fly in the air and crawl on the ground. They buzz around and they flutter about, busily taking pollen to plants to make them grow faster. All of these make healthy food for us all to eat! And that’s not all - insects are food for other animals to eat as well. So they help to create birds, flowers, food and trees. But the wild spaces they live in are shrinking fast so we must make sure they don’t disappear completely - because then where will we be? Look and love and learn with N*Gen!
