The Owl and the Pussycat poem by Edward Lear is a favorite classic childhood poem. Here we have animated it with paper cut-outs, and a musical improv by Jack on piano based on the original music written by George Ingraham for this poem in 1886.

Welcome to the world of Jack and Abel! We are a mom and son team that build and perform puppet shows, write and sing songs, and generally have lots of fun! We present classic poems, original sing-alongs, thoughtful puppet shows about the magical details of everyday life, and a hand-puppet show about being a best friend.
Our shows are about the live connection- we make it a point to show music being played live as well as connecting our poems to books. We use themes that are thoughtful and interesting topics of conversation for young and old.
